Ingredients.
in a saucepan melt 2 teaspoons butter add 1 cup milk, 2 tablespoons flour, stir until thickened, cool. Beat together until creamy 1/2 cup shortening, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add the thickened milk mixture 1 tablespoon at a time, continue beating together until fluffy.
