1/3 c. soda 
<br />
3/4 c. molasses

1/3 c. sugar

1 1/2 tsp. mustard

1 1/2 tsp. paprika 
<br />
4 tbsp. salt 
<br />
1 1/2 lb. pork 
<br />
2 c. water 
<br />

Directions

Soak navy beans overnight. Put the soda and beans in pan and cook 7 minutes. Drain and add the remaining ingredients.

Ingredients. 



2 pound hamburger 

1 pound pork sausage 

4 cups dry bread crumbs 

2 egg, well beaten 

3 cups milk 

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 

1 teaspoon sage 

1/2 teaspoon pepper 

4 teaspoons salt 

1/2 cup onion, minced 



Mix. Place in loaf pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees F. If desired: Remove loaf from oven 15 minutes early, cover loaf with catsup, continue baking.

3 Tbsp Salt 
<br />
2 Tbsp Pepper

1 lb 8 oz Fat

2 Qts. Water (8 cups)

Combine Flour with salt and pepper. Dredge liver in seasoned flour.

Brown floured liver in hot fat.

18 lb Beef, boneless, inside round 

1 ½ Tbsp Salt 

½ tsp pepper 

2 quarts Water 



Gravy 

1 ½ cups Flour 

1 ½ cups cold Water (and additional Water as needed) 

1 ½ Tbsp Salt 

½ tsp Pepper 



Season meat with salt and pepper and place in roasting pan. Place roast in oven 

at 450o for about 30 minutes (until brown). When meat is brown, add 2 quarts 

water and reduce heat to 300o. Cover and cook slowly until tender
