1 lb. cod fillets
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 - 10 oz. can condensed cream or mushroom soup
1 med. onion, sliced
1/2 cup. shredded cheddar cheese
Cut fillets into 3 or 4 equal portions. Place in a shallow greased baking dish. season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Scatter onion slices on top. Cover woth cream of mushroom soup. Top with grated cheese. Bake in a hot oven (400 F.) until fish is cooked, about 35 minutes.
