Ingredients.

Back in the 1950"s this was a breakfast meal that I look forward to as we were on welfare assistance it was made with commodities but could be substituted with ham and cheddar cheese and oil. The amounts should be determined by the size of mold you use.

Grind or chop some spam
Grind or chop some American cheese about 1/2 the amount as the spam
Put on a pot of long cooking hominy grits and when they are almost cooked and spam and cheese and salt and peeper to taste.
When grits are cooked pour in to a bread pane or something not to wide but at least 3"s high and chill until firm
When grits are firm slice and fry in bacon grease until golden brown.
