Ingredients.

1 1/2 Cups sugar
2 Cups water
1/2 Cup butter
4 cups peeled and chopped Granny Smith apples
2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
10 Flour tortillas ( 6’ inch)
Whipped cream
Ground cinnamon

Directions.

Combine sugar and water in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar melts then set aside. Place butter in 13x9x2” baking dish and set aside. combine apples and cinnamon stirring to coat place about 1/2 cup of apple mixture down center of each tortilla and roll up and place seam side down in baking dish pour sugar mixture over top of tortillas and cover with foil. Bake 350’ F. for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon.

Yield is 10 servings.
