 Venison Roast, With Cranberry Sauce

1--5lb Venison butt roast.
1 teaspoon garlic salt.
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning.
1 teaspoon pepper.
1 teaspoon italian seasoning.
1 large onion.
2 cups dried cranberries.


mix all the seasonings together and rub on roast, brown roast in heavy skillet. now put roast in roasting pan, while skillet is still hot add a little water to it and scrap the flavors out and pour into roasting pan. now add onion and cranberries to roaster and add water to come up about 1/2 way up the roast. now just roast at 350 degrees till roast is tender and cranberries are plump. make your gravy from the drippings in the pan and pour over meat after slicing.

my vegetable is carrots with a can of chunk pineapple, do not drain the pineapple.

desert is home made rice pudding with cinnamon and butter on top.

and whipped potato's.
