2 tablespoons [30 mL] butter
1 2/3 cups [410 mL] sugar
2/3 cup [160 mL] milk
1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
2 cups [500 mL] miniature marshmallows
8 ounces [227 g] semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts
1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla
In a deep bowl, melt butter in microwave-oven for 15 seconds.
Mix in sugar, milk and salt.
Microwave, uncovered, at 'HIGH' [100%], for 8 minutes.
Stir.
Add marshmallows and chocolate chips; stir until completely melted.
Mix in nuts and vanilla.
Pour into a buttered mold.
Refrigerate until hard enough to cut, into squares.
