No Bake Cookies

Ingredients.

2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
2 cups quick cooking oats

Directions.

In a large saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, and milk until well blended. Add butter. Heat on high until mixture comes to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Stir in peanut butter until well blended. Slowly add oats. Spoon out on wax paper or aluminum foil. Should harden up in a few minutes. Very rich but good.
