By North Star

Margarine 1Lb, 12 OZ OR 3 1/2 Cups.
Sugar 3 Lbs OR 1 1/2 Quarts.
Eggs 8 OZ OR 1 Cup.
Molasses 14 OZ OR 1 1/4 Cups.
Flour 2 Lbs 12 OZ OR 2 3/4 Quarts.
Soda 1 1/2 tbsp.
Salt 3/4 tsp.
Ginger 2 Tbsp.
Cinnamon 2 Tbsp.
Granulated Sugar For The Tops Of The Cookies.


1. Cream Margarine and sugar ( Medium Speed ) For 5 Minutes.

2. Add Eggs. Continue Beating Until blended. Add Molasses.

3. Combine dry ingredients. add to cream mixture. mix low speed until well blended.

4. Form into balls using a NO. 30 Scoop. Dip tops in granulated sugar.

5. Bake on greased baking sheet at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

makes 96 cookies
