Ingredients.

3 cups apple juice
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring
3 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot
1/4 teaspoon cardamom or cinnamon
3 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)

Boil together until thickened, stirring often.
