Ingredients.

1 cup half and half cream
1/4 cup light corn syrup
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 ounces (4 squares) unsweetened baker’s chocolate
2 ounces (2 squares) semi-sweet chocolate
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions.
1. Combine the cream, corn syrup, and butter in a medium-sized nonstick saucepan.
2. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
3. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Let simmer 5 minutes.
4. Remove from heat. Add the chocolate. Let rest 1 minute. Gently stir the melted chocolate until the sauce is smooth.
5. Stir in the vanilla.
6. To serve, warm desired amount in the microwave until liquid. Will keep refrigerated up to 3 months.
Makes 3 cups.
