Ingredients.
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Pinch black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 oz. extra lean ground beef 93% lean or higher
1/2 cup canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
9 oz. ground turkey breast, white meat no skin
Place water, Worcestershire, garlic powder, kidney beans, tomato paste and black pepper in food processor or blender and puree.
Add pureed beans to meat in a mixing bowl and mix well. Form 4 patties – about 1/2 cup each.
Brown in non stick pan with cooking spray until cooked through. Test for doneness with meat thermometer when it reaches 180 degrees.
Serve on toasted bun with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato and onion.
