3/4 cups [190 mL] chopped pecans or walnuts
8 [1-ounce / 28-g each] squares semi-sweet chocolate
1 [10 1/2-ounce / 284-mL] can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoons [5 mL] vanilla
6 [1-ounce / 28-g each] squares white chocolate

Spread pecans or walnuts onto a baking sheet; brown in a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven for 10 minutes; cool.
In a large bowl, melt semi-sweet chocolate squares with 3/4 cup [190 mL] of sweetened condensed milk in microwave on 'HIGH', for 2 to 3 minutes, until chocolate is almost all melted.
Stir until completely melted.
Stir in vanilla and cooled pecans or walnuts.
Spread into an 8-inch [20-cm] square pan, lined with aluminum foil.
Melt white chocolate squares; mix in remaining sweetened condensed milk and spread over darker chocolate layer.
Refrigerate for 2 hours, until firm.
Cut into squares.
