A little thinner than a Texas sauce but it blends perfectly with the smokey beef flavor.

1-1/2 cups cider vinegar
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cupworcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 TEAspoons onion powder
1-1/2 TEAspoons garlic powder
1-1/2 TEAspoons ground cumin
1 TEAspoon salt
1/2 TEAspoon ground pepper
1/2 TEAspoon ground red pepper

Stir together all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 to 7 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
