Oriental Cashew Crunch
8 cups ounces Original Quaker Oat Squares Cereal,
1 1/2 cups chow mein noodles
1 cup cashews or peanuts
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1.) Heat oven to 250 F. Combine first 3 ingredients in 9x13x2 inch baking pan; set aside.
2.) Combine remaining 4 ingredients in a small bowl; quickly pour over cereal mixture. Stir to coat evenly.
3.) Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minute; cool.
Yields 10 cups
VARIATIONS: add 1 tsp ginger to to soy sauce mix.
