Beef Stew Or Venison Stew.
This recipe is for cooking for a crowd, or if you are real hungry for a couple days.
4lbs beef or venison cut in bite size chunks.
4 cubes beef bullion or 4 teaspoons.
2lbs carrots, i use baby carrots.
1 bunch celery.
4lbs potato's.
2 large onions.
other vegetables optional.
brown meat, onions and spices of your choice till good and dark brown. after meat is browned add water, you will learn how much as you go along because as you add your vegetables you will add water to cover as you go. once meat is tender from boiling in water, add carrots and celery or other vegetables of your choice. the last thing to go in before you thicken your stew is the potato's so they don't turn to mush. after you add the potato's and they are tender, thicken stew. i use corn starch and that depends on how much stew you have to thicken as to how much corn starch to use. now chow down my friends.
