Home-made, microwave carmel corn - enjoy hot or cool
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Karo syrup
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 tsp baking soda
12 tbsp popcorn
Directions
1. Put brown sugar, syrup and margarine in a glass bowl. Microwave this on "high" for 3-4 minutes.
2. Stir in the soda and pour over the popped popcorn that has been placed in a bowl (with unpopped kernals removed).
3. Place the lid on the container and shake for even coating. Either pour on a cookie sheet to cool or enjoy hot.
