Ingredients.

14 large unpeeled shrimp
6 Tablespoons cold unsalted butter
1-1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1-1/2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
juice of one lemon
Hot French bread

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Place the shrimp, 3 Tbsp of the
butter, the seasonings, and garlic in a saute' pan or oven proof
skillet large enough to hold the shrimp in only one layer. Place
shrimp in oven for about 2 minutes. Remove and turn the shrimp
over and return for another 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp and
now place on the stove on medium heat. Add the lemon juice and
the remaining 3 Tbsp of butter, 1 Tbsp at a time. Serve in abowl
with the French bread for the dipping.


Cajun or Creole seasonings

2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
2-1/2 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon onion powder

Blend all the ingredients in a bowl. Makes 2/3 of a cup. Can be
stored in a sealed container.
