Ingredients.
1 sml. red pepper (diced)
1 sml. green pepper (diced)
milk
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup. lt. cream
2 tins whole kernel corn (24oz.)
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 10'' x 6'' dish. Drain corn ( save liquid), add diced peppers to corn in a large bowl. Toss well. Add milk to liquid from corn to make 1 cup. Beat eggs thoroughly, beat in: sugar, nutmeg, salt,pepper, cream and milk mixture. Stir into corn-peppered mixture. Transfer this mixture to baking dish. Place this dish in a 13''x19''x2'' baking dish. Place on center rack of oven and pour boiling water in pan around dish to measure 1 inch. Bake for 40 minutes or until custard is set. Do not over cook. Makes 8 servings.
