Ingredients.


1 lg. onion
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 cloves garlic
3 tins vienna sausages
1/4 cup. vegetable oil
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 pk. (frozen) green peas
1 sml. green pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
2 cup. beer
2 cup. raw white rice
2 tsp. salt
dash pepper

Directions.

Chop: onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook in heated oil until golden brown. Drain sausages, reserving liquid for later use. Set aside 6 whole sausages, vinegar, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, bay leaf, cumin and rice to vegetable mixture in skillet. Pour beer in 1 quart bowl. Stir until foam stops, beer should be flat. Add liquid from sausages and enough water to make 4 cups liquid. Stir beer mixture into rice mixture in skillet. Simmer 20 minutes or until cooked. Sprinkle peas over rice mixture. Heat. Meanwhile heat whole sausages and arrange over Pilaf in spoke-like fashion. Garnish with parsley. Serves 8.
